My shirt was drenched after. Love when that happens!
On my tumblr game. Been So busy training while balancing my other job and social life. Gonna put more focus to tumbling. I miss it.
Previously I had said that I hoped to finish the half marathon in 2 hours and 35 minutes, but my final time was 2 hours and 4 minutes! I never wanted to stop. The rush I had felt amazing and it is one of my biggest accomplishments in life thus far, right up there with graduating college. Before this I was not a long distance runner at all, but I think I’ve found a new addiction.
I encourage all of you to chase your goals in life. Find that motivation to start and just follow through. The feeling you get once you make it will remind you of why you set out to do it in the first place.
So basically I have adjusted my workouts to mornings so it can jump start my day and eliminate any potential barriers the day brings that can have a negative impact on my workouts, or prevent me from doing it altogether. I will be doing resistant training 4x a week concentrating on 1-2 muscle groups at a time. Then an additional 2 days will be dedicated to cardio where i will burn 776 calories each of these days.
I also need to focus on personal development in other areas than fitness. I miss school and want to get my Master’s degree in Biomechanics. I also need to watch my expenses and plan out where I want to be in the next 3-5 years and how exactly I will get there.
February is going to be a great month. I feel it in my bones.
